Ingredients

Base Ingredients

1 cup oat milk

½ cup 100% pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for extra warmth)

Optional Add-Ins

½ frozen banana (for thickness and natural sweetness)

1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)

3-5 ice cubes

Method

  1. Add liquid first — Pour the oat milk into the blender.
Add pumpkin and protein powder — Add the pumpkin puree and vanilla protein powder
.Blend briefly — Blend on low speed first to help the protein powder incorporate smoothly and avoid clumps.
Add spices and sweetener — Add the pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and sweetener if using.
Blend until smooth — Add frozen banana and/or ice, then blend on high until completely smooth. Adjust with extra oat milk if too thick.
Serve — Pour into a glass and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • Double-check the label — make sure you're using 100% pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling, which contains added sugar and spices.
  • Blending the protein powder with liquid first, before adding other ingredients, helps prevent clumping.
  • For a vegan version, use a plant-based protein powder (oat milk is already dairy-free).
  • Best enjoyed fresh; store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
